FAQs

  • We want every experience to be safe, comfortable, and stress-free — so here’s what you need to know before booking:

    • Ears: We pierce from age 6+. If you’re under 16, you’ll need a parent or guardian with you, and they’ll need to bring photo ID.

    • Nipple, Dermal & Surface Piercings: Available for ages 18+.

    • Genital Piercings: For 18+ only.

Thanks for understanding — these guidelines help us make sure everyone’s piercing journey is the best (and safest!) it can be.

  • Yes! We’re always happy to take a look and chat about piercings to make sure your anatomy is suitable. Please just let us know when you’d like to come in, as we may be busy with other clients.

Is there a charge for consultations?
All consultations cost £10, which will be deducted from the final cost of your piercing. (if done on the same day)

  • Do you use piercing guns?
No — never! We only pierce with sterile, single-use needles. Piercing guns are outdated, unnecessarily harsh, and can cause extra trauma to the tissue, so we don’t use them.

What jewellery do you use for piercings?
All of our piercings are done with implant-grade titanium (F-136). It’s the safest, most biocompatible option, and helps your piercing heal smoothly with a much lower risk of irritation or rejection.

  • Yes, we can! If it’s a downsize after your initial tongue or nipple piercing, this service is £10

If you’d like us to change your existing jewellery to something you’ve bought elsewhere, or upgrade to one of the pieces we stock, we charge a £10 nominal fee for fitting.

This small fee covers the use of sterile equipment and ensures the change is done safely and hygienically, giving your piercing the best chance to heal and stay healthy.

  • For safety reasons, we only pierce with our own sterilised, implant-grade jewellery. We’re unable to pierce or fit jewellery supplied by clients, as we can’t guarantee it meets the standards needed for a safe, healthy healing process.

  • All piercings are carried out in their own private room at the back of the shop. Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities, so you can relax knowing you’re in a safe, professional space.

If it would make you feel more at ease, you’re welcome to bring someone along to your appointment.

  • Short answer, is no.

The body’s immune system undergoes serious changes during pregnancy. These changes have a negative effect on healing, and may even prevent piercings received shortly before becoming pregnant from finishing healing. Sometimes even healed piercing will act up while you are pregnant. For these reasons, we even advise against stretching existing piercings during pregnancy.

There is also a slight but important risk that if you experience a complication, such as an infection, that your pregnancy or fetus would be negatively affected. While the chances are slim, it’s just not worth the risk.

It is best to let your body focus on the important, complex and demanding task that it is handling already.

What about getting pierced after pregnancy?

We suggest to wait until you are fully recovered and not breastfeeding.

  • When you get pierced the piercer will fit a longer bar to allow for any swelling. As your piercing heals the swelling will go down and the bar may fit a bit loosely.

If you don’t downsize in time your piercing is more prone to migrate, snag, shift and may become irritated.

  • No, piercing kits for sale to the general public represent a serious potential health hazard.

They lack proper sterilization, professional training, and quality tools, leading to high risks of severe infection, scarring, tissue damage (especially in cartilage), incorrect placement, and potential nerve or artery damage.

  • You will receive an aftercare sheet after your appointment but in case it’s been lost you can find it down below!
